e3creative in Manchester has completed a website for the charity Stonewall, to help tackle homophobic bullying in primary schools.

stonewallIt’s been built around the charity’s film, Free, which follows 4 young people as they explore “family, friendship and what it means to be yourself.”

There are also a number of teaching resources and quizzes aimed at young children.

“Stonewall shocked us when they told us how widespread homophobic bullying is in primary schools. Bullying of this nature is often not discussed, with many teachers unsure how to even address it,” explained Jake Welsh, e3creative director.

“We want teachers to use the site as place to access resources and understand homophobic bullying in primary schools. On the flip side, we want children to use the site as a fun place to visit, feel accepted and understand difference.”
