Rippleffect has completed a new online retail store for Liverpool FC which it says makes it the first football club to have a “fully responsive e-commerce offering”.
Among the features are a click-and-collect service to all six of the club’s UK retail stores, a streamlined checkout experience and a new guest checkout function.
The Liverpool-based digital agency has already built sites for Everton and Arsenal, but this is the first time it’s been involved with Liverpool.
Alec Woolford, Rippleffect’s technical operations director, said: “The new online store has been created with the fans in mind, offering a wide range of great features that enhance their shopping experience. With access to personalised content, their shopping experience is more in-tune with their needs than ever before.”
Billy Hogan, chief commercial officer at Liverpool FC, added: “On average, tens of thousands of fans access the LFC online store every day from a myriad of devices.
“As a result, it was important for the club to modernise the user shopping experience, helping fans find what they are looking for with ease as well as saving them some money with the new click-and-collect service.”
