Godel Technologies has partnered with charity and not-for-profit travel specialist Diversity Travel to revamp its Manchester neighbour’s online booking tool (OBT).
The long-term partnership aims to further enhance user experience, offer significant performance improvements to the OBT, and reduce search times for customers. Plans to update the tool are expected to start at the end of April. This comes at a crucial time as Diversity Travel works to meet growing demand and adapt to evolving customer expectations.
According to Deloitte’s 2024 corporate travel study, a better digital user experience plays a significant role in platform selection for travellers. And another report by McKinsey found that travellers are increasingly transitioning to digital platforms when booking their trips.
Diversity Travel states that its goal is to build a modern, strategic platform that anticipates customer needs, is easy to use, and supports the ongoing shift towards digital solutions, specifically across the UK, Europe, and the US.

“Together, we will support Diversity Travel in strengthening their technological capabilities and delivering excellence.”
Joanne Bowden, chief technology officer at Diversity Travel, added: “Choosing Godel was a natural fit for us. Our partnership will strengthen the company’s technological backbone, offering cutting-edge digital solutions to enable us to attract and retain customers in the years to come. We remain committed to the ongoing evolution of our customer experience, not just the traveller but the organiser, ensuring we are prepared to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients.”
Since joining Diversity Travel in late 2024, Bowden has highlighted the need for a more agile and responsive approach to investing in technology solutions and to improve both the quality output and the pace of change at the company.
