Launched in 2021 and now part of Authentic Studios, Studio 99’s recent work has, perhaps unsurprisingly, featured a particularly strong portfolio of Manchester United-related doc content, included the Emmy award-winning documentary series Beckham (Netflix) and the documentaries 99, a co-production with Gary Neville-founded Buzz16 about Manchester United’s treble-winning season, and Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In (both for Amazon Prime Video). Other recent successes include the Grierson-nominated feature documentary, Ronnie O’Sullivan: The Edge of Everything (also Amazon).

A new three-part series Sneaker Wars; Adidas vs Puma is set to launch later this year on Disney+, and the studio is currently in production on a Victoria Beckham fashion documentary series which will be released on Netflix later this year.
