Leeds-based creative agency Finn has been appointed by Cranswick plc-owned Vitalin Pet to lead its creative repositioning strategy and through the line communications.
Finn will help deliver a new and more emotive brand positioning through a creative communications campaign that highlights how Vitalin provides deliciously tasty, enhanced nutrition that boosts not only their health and wellbeing, but brings out the joy in every pet.
Vitalin has a strong heritage dating back to the 1950s when the first product ‘Vitalin Original’ was made by Arthur Mills in Ripon, Yorkshire. The success was immediate! It was one of the first commercially produced complete dry dog food in the UK, which then led to the production of other traditional muesli- style foods.
The campaign kicks off with a series of activations in Sainsbury’s stores nationwide and at Crufts, the world’s largest dog show, alongside the launch of their new air-dried treats range.

We’ve already delivered some great work, including exciting fresh creative and even a downloadable game, an indication of the ambition of Dan and the Vitalin brand team.”
Dan Reeves, brand marketing controller at Cranswick, added: “I’ve worked with Rich and the team at Finn many times over the years and I knew they would develop a strategically powerful creative solution and be able to execute to a high quality. It’s great to work with them again and we’re excited to see the results of an exciting campaign.”
Leeds-based Finn, whose client list has also featured the likes of nutritional health brand BetterYou and Sara Davies-founded arts and crafts specialist Crafter’s Companion, was appointed to the latest brief without pitch.
