Ubiquitous, one of the UK’s leading providers of taxi advertising with over four decades in the trade, has appointed former AKA Northern head Louise Walsh as Group Head.
One of the largest taxi advertisers in the UK and operarting nationwide, Ubiquitous has operational bases in key cities including Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, and Edinburgh. The latest appointment comes as the team bolsters its ranks ahead of what is predicted to be a competitive year in UK media.
Ubiquitous aims to utilise Louise’s wealth of experience as it continues to connect audiences with some of the world’s most storied marques, brands, and businesses.
Walsh brings many years of experience in media with her, most recently heading AKA North’s arts and entertainment portfolio. She will be responsible for continuing to grow Ubiquitous’ presence across the UK, thanks to the extensive network of clients, media agencies, publishers, and media owners she has built over a highly successful career.
An invaluable member of the Ubiquitous family, Micky Harris who previously looked after this side of the business, will now be working on other key clients.
Walsh said: “I’m thrilled to start work at Ubiquitous. As one of the UK’s most recognised and loved advertising formats, I’m a firm believer in the value that out-of-home and the black cab ad-formats can bring to brands that dare to do something a little different.”
Ubiquitous’ leadership team is also pleased that Walsh will be bringing her expertise to the team. Jim Cohen, Chief Revenue Officer, said: “I am delighted to welcome Louise to the Ubiquitous family. Louise brings an incredible amount of knowledge and experience to the team, and I feel honoured and privileged to be able to work with her to develop our relationships with all partners across the UK. This is a very exciting time for us here at Ubiquitous.”
For more than 40 years the Ubiquitous team has been a leading provider of best-in-class services to a range of clients, from multinational market leaders to emerging start-ups.
