As the hugely popular Growth to Gold: scaling & selling your agency event returns for 2025, we can now reveal the first set of exciting speakers set to appear at the event next month.
Hosted in Manchester on 26 March in conjunction with headline sponsors Paprika Software, KPMG and Glaisyers, this interactive event is for agency owners and senior digital or tech leaders at ambitious companies looking to scale their businesses effectively, create new revenue streams, or reimagine their core operations from talent to expansion.

You’ll be able to hear from Sue Benson, founder and CEO at The Behaviours Agency. Benson has been at the helm of The Behaviours Agency for over 20 years, consistently delivering profit and impressive returns year after year. She’s learned a thing or two about what it takes to build a successful agency, from the importance of a strong culture to the power of consistent marketing.
Expect to hear from Michael Heaven, co-founder at Butterfly 3ffect too. He has over a decade of experience in agency operations and growth, including as a founding member of Social Chain, where he led its US expansion. After Social Chain’s merger and IPO in 2020, he became Managing Director at Offbeat Media Group, a Mark Cuban-backed venture. Now, Heaven combines his agency and business operations expertise to offer actionable insights and strategies to startup and scale-up leaders.
We’ll also be joined by Howard Simms, a co-founder of Apadmi, a leading UK mobile software development company that has collaborated with clients like Domino’s, the BBC, and the NHS. After 15 years, he exited the company to pursue new interests.
Since founding Apadmi in 2009, he has held senior roles across operations, sales, marketing, strategy, and leadership, notably serving as CEO of Apadmi Ventures, where he invested in and advised scalable tech companies.
