Changes at the top for LadBible Group as Finance boss quits and senior Marcoms hire

The publisher of Unilad, LadBible and SportBible has confirmed that its Chief Financial Officer is leaving the business with immediate effect.

It’s also announced the appointment of a new Managing Director of Client Solutions, who’ll work out of its Manchester and London offices.

Last month, CFO, Richard Jarvis, took time away from the business for personal reasons. Today the Board said that he was permanently stepping down and leaving the company “with immediate effect.”

“I would like to thank Richard for his commitment and support. Richard has led important initiatives to build the finance and legal functions that will support our long-term growth ambitions and I wish him well for the future,” said Group Chief Executive, Solly Solomou.

Jarvis joined LBG Media Plc in April 2023, having spent almost 3 decades at listed Chester software firm, GB Group plc.

Since January, the publisher moved Dave Wilson moved into the role of Executive Chair, with a focus on supporting the finance and legal teams. 

He’ll continue to do this until a new CFO has been found.

Meanwhile, Ladbible Group has appointed Victoria Bickle as its new Managing Director of Client Solutions.

Bickle has more than 23 years of experience in communications and most recently was UK Managing Director of T&Pm. She’s also been Head of J3 Northern Europe at UM London and Client Director (L’Oreal) at Maxus Global. She’s remains an Executive Committee Member at WACL (Women in Advertising & Communications Leadership).

“The opportunity to lead a talented team and work with brands that are admired by an audience over 1bn is incredible exciting,” she said.

Bickle will be based out its London and Manchester offices.
