Leeds agency plants digital seed with agricultural supplier

Greenland Seeds has appointed Leeds-based digital agency Perfect Storm to create its digital marketing strategy.

Perfect Storm will assist the company in its mission to support farmers and agricultural businesses with sustainable seed solutions, ranging from grass and forage seeds to specialised varieties tailored for diverse climates and soil types. With a commitment to supporting sustainable farming practices, Greenland Seeds works with agricultural professionals across the UK, ensuring they have access to products that enhance crop yield and quality.

Perfect Storm will help Greenland Seeds take a customer-first approach to its digital marketing strategy. Through its Business Immersion methodology, the agency will gain a deep understanding of the business and the operational landscape it works in, along with the challenges it faces and the growth opportunities available.

Key to that will be conducting qualitative research to uncover the needs, behaviours, and decision-making processes of core customer groups including farmers, agronomists and agricultural distributors. These insights will inform the development of a marketing strategy, helping to define key messaging and prioritise areas of focus for maximum impact.

Michael Hoff, managing director at Greenland Seeds, said: “We were impressed by the collaborative approach suggested by Perfect Storm, which is designed to align marketing initiatives directly with our business objectives. Importantly, key performance indicators will be monitored to help drive measurable commercial success. This partnership represents an opportunity to enhance Greenland’s industry leadership by building stronger relationships with our customers, expanding our reach through innovative digital strategies.”

Dan Svikis, strategy and effectiveness director at Perfect Storm, added: “Greenland Seeds has an incredible history of providing solutions that truly support agricultural progress. We’re thrilled to partner with the organisation to translate their customer-first ethos into a digital marketing strategy that strengthens their connection with their audience and drives sustainable growth.”
