Pearson Hydraulics has launched its newly redesigned ecommerce website, developed in collaboration with ecommerce agency Fluid Commerce.
The launch marks a significant step forward in the company’s digital transformation, providing an enhanced user experience and advanced functionality to meet the evolving needs of customers.
A leader in the fluid power industry since 1964, Pearson Hydraulics’ new website is designed to streamline operations, enhance customer interactions, and support future growth. Pearson Hydraulics is the first brand within the R&G Fluid Power Group (R&G) to undergo this transformation, setting a blueprint for other brands within the group.
Ben Bates, head of marketing and ecommerce at R&G, said: “Launching the new website is an exciting moment for Pearson Hydraulics and the group as a whole. We had been looking for a platform and a partner to help us deliver our ecommerce strategy and Fluid has provided the answer. The advanced functionality and improved user experience mean we can better meet the needs of our customers today and long into the future.”
As part of R&G’s mission to become the leading fluid power company in the UK, it sought to address the technical challenges posed by its growing portfolio of brands. The Pearson Hydraulics website became the test case for this broader initiative.
Adam Hindle, MD at Fluid Commerce, said: “We’re thrilled to have partnered with R&G Fluid Power Group and Pearson Hydraulics on this transformative project. The complex integration of systems like OGL ProfIT+ and Adobe Commerce has delivered a powerful ecommerce platform that not only benefits Pearson but also sets a template for the other brands within the R&G Fluid Power Group. It’s a testament to what can be achieved when technical expertise and strategic vision come together.”
The integrations promise high-end B2B ordering functionality, faster load times, improved SEO performance, and a more cost-effective development structure which Fluid describes as “not just a digital upgrade but a transformative project that positions Pearson Hydraulics for long-term market leadership in an increasingly digital-first world.”
