Jaywing is home to a diverse bunch of talented specialists and downright brilliant people. Bringing together the best creative thinkers, data scientists, channel and performance marketers and technologists, we’re a 300-strong team with offices in Sheffield, Leeds and Newbury (and Sydney, too.)  A tight-knit group on a collective mission to create certainty for our clients in an uncertain world.

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic new Jaywinger who can support our Client Service Team with the day-to-day delivery of media campaigns for some of the biggest clients within our agency.

Our account executives are a real driving force behind the client accounts they manage, and this role presents an opportunity to work with some of the biggest brand names in the business!

As well as having the chance to work on full 360’ marketing campaigns, you will be expected to gain the respect and trust of your clients and colleagues through your phenomenal interpersonal skills, organisational brilliance, creative thinking and enthusiasm to learn.

Working closely alongside your Senior Account Manager, you will develop your media and agency knowledge. You will be integral to the day-to-day organisation and delivery of our award-winning media strategies and campaigns.

We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail, ability to build relationships and a hands on “can-do” attitude are an absolute must for applicants.

Sound appealing? Then you could be the one we’re looking for to join our vibrant, supportive team. You will be a member of our client teams, and enjoy plenty of support from the whole team; including creatives, developers, strategists, data scientists and media performance specialists.

Essential skills will include (but not be limited to):

  • Willingness to get stuck in – supporting the Senior Account Manager and the whole  team, managing day-to-day client relationships, and handling digital projects and retained accounts. There will also be an element of creative projects also to support the team on.
  • A natural organiser – you’ll be expected to juggle multiple projects, client demands and deadlines daily – working with the Senior Account Manager and coordinating the support of a talented team internally, making sure client’s needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Desire to learn - We’re a talented bunch. From creatives and developers, data scientists and mathematicians to content makers, journalists, strategists and technologists, there are lots of experts to learn from.  The client portfolio for this role is predominantly digital and you will be working with teams specialising in SEO, PPC, Paid Social, Programmatic, CRO & Affiliates. Although not essential, agency or performance marketing experience would be desired, however a hunger to learn is essential!
  • Strong evidence of building relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues - Our Account Executives are critical to the success of our client/agency relationship and look to strike an amazing balance between client and agency to ensure we provide best in class client service. Striking up a conversation and communication, both written and verbal should come easy to you.
  • Numerate and financially aware - you’ll have an attention for detail and be there to support with planning, time management, SLA, billing and dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s. This includes experience in using Microsoft office particularly Excel and familiar with reporting templates.
  • Great people skills – your personality will flex from brainstorming ideas with the internal team, taking briefs from clients and trouble-shooting the natural glitches and conflicts that occur. Teamwork will be key to deliver the best results for our clients.
  • Attention to detail – whether it’s evaluating a spike in a client’s results or understanding the reasons behind a lack of interactions, your naturally inquisitive nature will be looking at asking the right questions so our team can provide even better outputs to clients. Ability to handle client feedback, both praise and critique, then effectively manage actions and provide feedback to the internal team whilst managing the client’s expectations on deliverables throughout a project’s process.
