Andrew Flintoff is to be the subject of a feature-length documentary for Disney+.
The former England international has allowed cameras to film his recovery from the life-changing Top Gear crash, as well as talk about his return to cricket.
As yet untitled, the 90minute film will be directed by Bafta-winner, John Dower. Dower’s previous work includes Thrilla in Manila, Lockerbie and Once in a Lifetime: The Extraordinary Story of the New York Cosmos.
The film is made by South Shore, which was behind Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams for the BBC. It also produced Freddie Flintoff: Living with Bulimia and Don’t Rock the Boat, which he also presented.
The executive producers are Andrew Mackenzie and Naomi Templeton for South Shore; Andrew Flintoff; and Sean Doyle, Executive Director, Unscripted, Disney+.
