Freedom Fibre signs long-term deal with Godel

Freedom Fibre is to undergo a digital transformation with its new long-term partner, Godel Technologies.

It comes following Freedom Fibre’s strategic merger with VX UK and a need to rebuild its entire systems.

“We decided we needed to rebuild our system’s infrastructure within the company and decided to look for a Manchester-based nearshore partner who was flexible and collaborative in seeking data-driven business solutions,” explained David Hough, Network Operations Director.

“Having recently worked with them for a data consultancy, Godel stood out for their partnership approach, working collaboratively with us on what we’re trying to achieve, which has been crucial to reaching our targets. So far it has been a proactive consultancy where they feel part of our team and share similar goals. Godel’s expertise ensures they understand what we do as a business so they can confidently make recommendations across a number of areas and deliver on them. What we’ve seen is a much more targeted solution that doesn’t only look at our data but also how the business is structured.”

Freedom Fibre and VX UK’s merger went through earlier this year, providing fibre connectivity to more than 285,000 premises across the North West and Midlands.

“So far we have been on an incredible journey with Freedom Fibre, and as we transition into a long-term partnership, we will continue to work in collaboration and help them deliver against their goals,” said Gareth Ainsworth, CEO at Godel.
