Manchester digital marketing agency BANC has launched all-new websites for Holts Auto and its three brands Prestone, Simoniz and Redex.
Carrying out an extensive project for the agency’s longest-running client, the BANC team of designers and web developers delivered four entirely bespoke websites, a result that will help strengthen branding and growth opportunities for the complete Holts Auto operation.
Previously, Holts Auto had a multi-site set up, with each brand and different language site living under a single Holts Auto domain. From a brand perspective, the agency noticed that having the three brands housed on a different brand’s domain was hurting the potential for greater exposure.
Moving Prestone, Simoniz and Redex onto their own separate domains, BANC designed bespoke sites for each, complete with individual branding, product hierarchy and business requirements. In addition, each site now features a smart search function which pulls from products, guides and learning resources, letting users find what they’re looking for in a far quicker and easier manner.
While Holts Auto and its related brands don’t sell on the site, the agency modelled each domain’s product pages on typical ecommerce pages. Along with improving the user experience, each page’s ChannelSight API function directs users to core stockists, including Tesco, Halfords, Euro Car Parts and Amazon.
BANC’s production lead, Chris Balme, said: “We’re really happy with the work we completed for Holts Auto. It was intensive, but I think the final products really are a testament to the hard work, creative ideas and technical expertise that we put into every project. Plus, it’s a reflection of the long-term relationship we’ve had with the client over the years, a show of faith that they trust us to handle and deliver work of this kind of magnitude.”
