Channel 4 has commissioned a new show from Manchester indie, Salamanda Media.
Heat Your Home for Less (working title) will be presented by Denise Van Outen and work out how families can cut costs on heating bills.
The one-off special will hear from British families living a range of different sized properties as they road test methods to keep heat in their homes and save money.
Channel 4 said it would range from “cutting-edge gadgets to innovative renovations and viral quick tips.”
It was commissioned by Senior Commissioning Editor, Clemency Green with Head of Lifestyle Jo Street.
Sally Evans and Amanda de Freitas will executive produce the film for Salamanda Media with Producer/Director Aaron Nelson and Senior Producer Ali Martin.
Salamanda Media, winner of Prolific North’s Best Production Company, is also part of Channel 4’s Indie Growth Fund.
