Andy’s remit at Tangent is to dictate vast technical architectures that form the digital products used by our enterprise clients. Leading a team of strategists, developers, product engineers and, as of this year, a division of AI architects and strategists, Andy is an exemplar for sustainable system designs – at every turn, prescribing composable architectures that are cheaper, safer and also more sustainable. Projects spearheaded by Andy claimed a host of awards last year, including Prolific North’s Transformation through Tech category.
Andy is no stranger to the world stage, sharing his knowledge across events and thought leadership. As well as leading the charge across Tangent’s own B Corp journey, Andy also sits on multiple sustainability councils and the BIMA 100 list.
Following a mammoth year at the helm of Tangent’s technical team, Andy Eva-Dale was promoted to CTO; a true marker of our agency-wide faith in his skill, knowledge and leadership.
Anish Kapoor, CEO of AccessPay, is a visionary leader who has significantly shaped the financial technology landscape. Early in his career, he founded the UK’s first Point of Sales business and became one of the youngest FTSE 250 directors, guiding a company to become Europe’s largest listed data centre operator.
Kapoor has since led several SaaS businesses, raising over $200M through various funding rounds, including an IPO. Since taking over as AccessPay’s CEO in 2014, he has secured over £30M in funding, expanded the company’s reach to over 100 countries, and, following another multi-million-pound funding round earlier this year, is currently leading its market entry into the US.
Anish’s recent initiatives focus on platform enhancements like fraud prevention and ISO 20022 data transformation.
With a strong emphasis on internal growth, Kapoor fosters a business culture centered around personal development and internal promotions, continuing to drive innovation within the industry.
Ramzan Anwar, the visionary behind G6 Motion Control, sought to push the limits of music video production with the ‘Mini Me’s’ project by MEEKZ. His strategy involved using three synchronised motion control robots to achieve a groundbreaking one-take shot, a feat that had never been attempted by the team before.
The resulting video not only won the ‘Best Music Video’ award at the Los Angeles Film Awards 2024 but also at the Oniros Film Awards New York and San Diego Movie Awards. Additionally, it has been nominated for ‘Best Rap Video’ at the UK Music Video Awards. Rammy’s innovative approach makes him a strong candidate for the Tech Leader of The Year award.

We’ve facilitated the growth of over 4,680 businesses, amassed a user base exceeding 5,000, and deployed over 80 autonomous mobile robots across an additional 5 countries. Our ARR tripled in the last quarter demonstrating a 150% YoY growth rate. The resonance of our efforts is underscored by a $50 million business valuation, a testament to the value we bring to the industry.
Jacob Alcock is a cyber security consultant at the North West Cyber Resilience Centre, having joined the team as a student ethical hacker. He is responsible for running sessions and assessments with small to medium business to help them navigate the complexities of the ever-evolving cyber security landscape. He also manages our student ethical hackers and organises the Student Chapter events.
Joe has made a wave as a new, up-and-coming Business Analyst (BA), cementing his status as a tech rising star through an accelerated career path that’s serving as a catalyst to support more people gain entry into the industry. He is a trusted mentor both to junior team-mates and to individuals from disadvantaged or underrepresented communities looking for their first break.
Professionally, he is a respected leader – rising from entry-level Academite to Senior BA within two years of his entry into the sector – and is trusted to implement new ways of thinking and working that boost the impact, reach, and useability of the technology clients his develop, for positive outcomes for the broader public. From beginning to end, Joe exemplifies what nurtured talent can do in such a short space of time.
As a young woman in tech, Lucy is a trailblazer at Answer Digital and across the industry. She has been a dedicated Servant Leader and Scrum Master, excelling in facilitating people, Agile processes, and practices to drive cost-effective, value-loaded results whilst also redefining what it means to be in tech. She exemplifies a passion in work that is borne from applied dedication, targeted education, and the right opportunity.
Fresh from being awarded AI Project of the Year 2023, at the UK IT Tech Awards, for her contribution to the groundbreaking AI Deployment Engine (AIDE) platform in use across a consortium of London NHS Trusts, Lucy has been delivering high-impact projects and underpinning new ways of working to create momentum for change across the industry.
Megan Bower, a Full-Stack Engineer at Burendo, is nominated for her exceptional performance and rapid growth. Demonstrating a keen ability to grasp complex concepts, she quickly became a valuable asset to the NHS team, taking on significant responsibilities and exceeding expectations. Megan’s technical expertise, particularly her work on the NHS’s ETL pipelines, has made her a vital member of the team.
Beyond her technical skills, she is a collaborative team player, actively involved in CSR initiatives, including raising money for charity and promoting Burendo’s culture. Her positive attitude, dedication and versatility make her a rising star poised for a bright future.
Ruaridh exemplifies the very best of the Answer Digital Academy programme: a discovered talent nurtured into a mentor, a leader, and an invaluable team player. This past year, he has balanced an accelerated learning curve into Test Automation with an unwavering desire to give back to his community, colleagues, and junior tech-mates through his natural affinity for mentorship and support.
From creating and leading test strategies, to participating in career-focused panels and events, Ruaridh delivers clear, unequivocal impact. He is testament to the ways different perspectives can coalesce into a richer experience for clients and benefactors of the tech industry, whilst simultaneously nurturing the next generation of tech professionals. Now, as an Academy Mentor within a year of his own graduation, he is guiding new Academites through their journeys with patience, compassion, and clear-cut knowledge across the tech landscape.
