Stagecoach, the UK’s largest bus and coach operator and a key provider of public transport in Northern cities including Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Hull and Sheffield, as well as the Scottish Citylink service, has launched a new campaign targeting working adults, focusing on common commuting challenges like congestion, weather, and parking costs.
The campaign, titled “Sometimes, It’s Time for the Bus,” features three light-hearted videos that depict relatable situations: bad weather, after-work drinks, and the rising cost of parking, encouraging commuters to see the bus as a practical, affordable alternative.
In England, the £2 single fare cap makes public transport both cost-effective and sustainable. Meanwhile, in Scotland and Wales, DayRider tickets offer unlimited travel within a 24-hour period, perfect for commuters and those taking part in after-work activities.
Jaeger Rowland, head of brand & marketing for Stagecoach, said: “Our light-hearted and relatable campaign highlights the many benefits of bus travel in daily life. With services connecting over 100 major towns and cities across England, Scotland, and Wales, Stagecoach offers a smarter, more sustainable choice.”
