The Paid Search Analyst will support the development & delivery of our product offering for the agency covering all areas of paid search, whilst adapting towards new tools and tactics as the space evolves. We’re looking for a truly passionate candidate who loves to be creative, experiment & learn and grow their profile to become a go-to authority in paid search within the agency and for the clients you’ll be working across.

You will collaborate successfully with key stakeholders in the department to ensure a holistic, seamless, and future-facing strategic approach for all your clients. You’ll push for the agency to be at the cutting edge, powered by data-centric, critical and solutions-focussed thinking whilst embracing an integrated paid media approach for our clients within the wider Paid Media team.

Key Responsibilities

To best advise clients on their usage of their paid channels, meeting campaign and commercial objectives. Deliver holistic strategies within the area that drive growth and meet targets for our clients.

Strategy

  • Drive innovation and the development of the offering
  • Proven experience driving performance strategies across the paid platforms and a track record of running ad campaigns across Google.
  • Identify future industry trends and developments, ensuring that this information feeds through into the proposition for clients
  • Identify trends within the channels and harness these for the benefit of our clients.
  • Devise paid strategies and contribute to integrated media plans alongside other internal teams, whilst overseeing the delivery of these strategies across all clients
  • Supporting and attending client calls

Delivery 

  • Build on current successes and advise clients on ongoing and future strategic approaches
  • Delivery – reporting, optimisation, creative optimisation & briefing, client calls, meetings & QBRs etc.
  • Reporting across multiple touchpoints such as Google Ads, Google Analytics with integration across Looker Studio.
  • Support day-to-day campaign operations across the team and more junior team members, ensuring clients receive a high level of service with a rigorous focus on quality control
  • Collaborate with the wider Paid Media team to deliver campaigns to schedule and on or above targets set
  • Work with existing agency teams and accounts to drive revenue growth via their usage of channels as a part of integrated strategies
  • Push new tools and beta experiments on to clients, developing relationships with channel reps to gain access and improve performance for clients.

  • To work with colleagues in other areas of Jaywing to develop their understanding of paid search
  • Supporting the development of new services and propositions at Jaywing
  • To carry out any other tasks that will, from time to time be allocated by the MLT, SLT or Exec on an ad hoc or continuing basis, commensurate with the general level of responsibility of the post

Experience 

  • You will have already forged a successful start in your paid career, whether agency, client, or media owner
  • Agency side experience is preferred but not essential if you are the right candidate!
  • You will have experience of running projects and campaigns to budget, and managing delivery of strategy with key team members
  • Knowledge and experience of offline media would be advantageous.
  • You will be familiar wider performance channels to support across integrated clients. Channels include: Organic Search & Organic Social, Content StrategyUX and CRO
  • Proven experience driving performance strategies across the paid search and a track record of running ad campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including all campaign types such as Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen
