This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful integrated agency team executing marketing strategies for our clients.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Account Manager with experience in planning and booking media campaigns for clients as well as more general experience of managing client marketing requirements and the ability to contribute to the strategic marketing discussions.

Overall Responsibilities

  • To lead the marketing strategy for integrated accounts within HUB.
  • To work closely with management at our clients to deliver marketing strategy through HUB and its key partners.
  • To work with other account managers to assist in developing the marketing strategy/specific projects for their client’s.
  • To create, develop and sustain strong and long-lasting relationships with all of our clients by putting our clients first. To set a lead to all members of the company in securing all such relationships.
  • To ensure that the morale of the company remains high and to ensure that you set a positive lead to the management team and the wider company as a whole.
  • To enthusiastically support and contribute to the future direction of the company.
  • To play a positive and proactive role with your line manager in completing your annual performance management review and as part of the management team carry out performance reviews for relevant members of staff.
  • Prepare progress reports for the board on progress of your accounts in meeting the targets agreed with the client and the future direction of the client’s business.

Principal Responsibilities

  • To fully implement client requirements through working collaboratively with the creative, data analysis, performance, digital, and photographic teams ensuring complete implementation of the contract brief.
  • Maintain and build relationships with media suppliers to secure the best rates, placements, and deals for our clients.
  • Ensure appropriate progress of all contracts within the agreed contract timeline.
  • To develop proactive ideas on behalf of our clients and advise our clients of the benefits of developing appropriate ideas.
  • To be alert to other opportunities, both for the client and HUB, that might arise within work you carry out.
  • To participate positively in all client, team, and staff meetings and to take forward any decisions that are made at such meetings for the good of the company.

Essential Skills

  • At least 3 years’ experience of managing client relationships with significant budgets.
  • Experience working with Excel/PowerPoint and Google Sheets/Gmail suite.
  • Experience in reporting to clients on marketing performance, working alongside an analysis function.
  • Ideally educated at Degree Level, preferably with some form of marketing qualifications.

  • Commercial and business awareness, particularly of an agency model.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
