Leeds creative agency becomes employee owned

Leeds-based Network Design & Marketing has become an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).

It means that after a year’s employment, staff can become a member of the trust and benefit from profit share.

“Because of the dedication of both our staff – most of whom have been with the business for over 10 years – and our core clients who have partnered with us for more than two decades, the opportunity to convert to an EOT was the logical next step for the business,” explained Dominic Adams, founder and MD.

The company was founded 32 years ago and says that they hope the move will ensure that its team “is not only retained but developed, with future talent attracted by this new structure.”

“Network’s success is largely due to our long-standing and committed team and we wanted to acknowledge and develop that,” added Emma Steel, Director and employee of 22 years.

“As we transition to employee ownership, we’re investing in our collective futures and working towards being one of the best agencies to both work for and with.”

Adams and Steel will continue to lead the executive management of the company with regular input from the Trust board, including feedback from its members.
