There’s just one week to go until Prolific North’s first Northern Marketing Festival – so it’s your last chance to get tickets before they go!

From 24 to 27 June, Northern Marketing Festival will be hosted across three cities – Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester – where you can expect marketing insights and tips from brand and agency leaders to help take your marketing knowledge to the next level. Expect to hear from big names based across the North – including FIFA, Footasylum, Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate and much more.

Day one of the festival will kick off on 24 June over in Newcastle at The Catalyst, where we’ll be shining a spotlight on the ambitious people and work emerging from the North East. Expect to find out how to navigate the next era of marketing leadership with Embryo, and explore Newcastle United’s journey from underdog to champions with Dan Ginger, director of brand, marketing & digital media.

There will also a panel on the vital role of regional media with Josh Wheeler, Founder Be Broadcast; Sarah Waddington CBE, co-founder and director at Wadds Inc and Socially Mobile; plus Tom Glenwright, Presenter at BBC Newcastle and a session with Blue Moon Marketing on the behaviours you need to foster in your marketing teams to achieve strategic flexibility. Day two sees the festival take over VUE cinema in Leeds on 25 June, where you’ll be able to hear from McCann Worldgroup on how marketers can more effectively link spend to growth and long-term success, leaders at Embryo and TOTUM on how to grow businesses with paid media, plus a highly anticipated fireside chat with Dom Dwight, strategy & innovation director at Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate. 

There will be further sessions with Ponderosa on how can brands be playful in marketing and not cock it up, myth-busting with Spark Market Research, making the most out of your budget with Powerhouse, tackling bored-rooms with First Event, the recent explosion of GenAI with KINESSO. We’ll be wrapping up the day with a special panel session on raising the bar in the North when it comes to marketing and creativity where we’ll also be revealing Prolific North’s new list – Top Northern Brand Marketers 2024. Day three of the festival will hit Manchester on June 26 at Manchester Hall. You can expect to hear from Impression exploring behavioural science, Embryo will be untangling the web with an introduction to network science and find out how to create a culture of experimentation and play on social media with StrategiQ.

There will be a highly anticipated fireside chat with Steve Feekins, social media and content at FIFA plus a talk with Howard Tattersall, chief marketing officer at Footasylum on how Footasylum has taken content marketing to the next level and what the brand is focusing on next.
