From recognising the tech company or game studio of the year to celebrating the best workplace, there’s a mix of company and team categories at the Prolific North Tech Awards 2024.
Entries are officially open until 20 September for the Prolific North Tech Awards, where we’ll be celebrating all the trailblazing tech-driven work, organisations, teams and individuals based across the North of England and Scotland.
So to help you get started on your entries, we’ve pulled together a handy overview of all the team and company categories below.
Best Client Support Team – The winner of this category will consistently go above and beyond to ensure clients are serviced effectively and in a timely manner. This category is for teams providing exceptional service to build strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Best Workplace Award – Are you an organisation that prioritises a positive and inclusive culture, strong values and leadership to empower and develop your workforce? The judges will be looking for tech companies that demonstrate strong leadership in their approach.
Tech Company of the Year – The winner of this category will have outstanding long‑term growth potential, with a sound strategy in place to ensure successful delivery of its commercial objectives, an emphasis on culture and positive social impact.
Tech Hub of the Year – This category is open to free nominations and will recognise a Northern accelerator, incubator or hub that has made a major contribution to nurturing the Northern tech ecosystem.
Tech Agency of the Year – Celebrating agencies with an operational base in the North of England that specialise in developing innovative tech solutions and strategies.
Games Studio of the Year – A brand new category this year, to celebrate companies specialising in the development or co-development of video games with an operational base in the North of England or Scotland.
Tech Talent Acquisition Team of the Year – Open to both in-house talent acquisition teams and specialised recruitment companies, the winner of this category will consistently go above and beyond to ensure they attract the best talent.
In-House Tech Team of the Year – This category is for in-house tech teams that ensure the smooth running and advancement of technology within their organisation, irrespective of sector or discipline.
Northern Tech Deal of the Year – Completed a significant deal, whether it’s licensing, partnering, collaboration fundraising, IPO or acquisition? This category might be for you! The deal would need to be transformational and have significantly added to a company’s prospects. This category is also free to enter.
SaaS Company of the Year – Sponsored by Better Placed – This category recognises a leading Software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, which is relied upon and trusted by a wide range of organisations.
Tech Start-up of the Year – This category is suitable for exciting new companies, operating for less than three years with a disruptive tech solution. It’s also free to enter!
Best Tech Infrastructure Partner – This award will celebrate the top Northern company that provides services, expertise, and resources to support the technological infrastructure of another organisation.
Fastest Growing Company of the Year – This coveted award recognises innovative tech companies able to demonstrate annual revenue growth greater than 10% over the last three years with a minimum revenue of £5m for the last accounting period.
