Former Brazen AD goes in-house at relaunched Manchester Printworks

Manchester Printworks’ managing agent, Cushman & Wakefield has appointed former Brazen account director Kristian Brennan as its new marketing manager.

Brennan joins alongside new centre manager Dan Davis, and both have had extensive careers in the North West within leisure, retail and hospitality.

The Printworks, has recently completed its £21M refurbishment which saw the unveiling of the largest digital ceiling in Europe in March.

The relaunch has already delivered a record 60% increase in footfall year on year in the immediate launch period.

The transformation is still ongoing, with the announcement of a new senior management team on site who will aim to keep footfall at an all time high.

Brennan previously worked across a wide range of national retail and hospitality brands at Brazen, one of the most successful native Northern agencies in the sector, while Davis most recently had a successful tenure managing the Corn Exchange, another iconic Manchester leisure destination, and brings with him over 18 years of retail and centre management experience.

The team will support owners DTZ Investors’ vision for Printworks to be at the forefront of UK leisure. Responding to evolving leisure trends with the creation of unique technology-led experiences, owner DTZ Investors has delivered a true world of entertainment with a fully immersive and interactive environment, on a scale not found elsewhere in the UK.

Brennan said: “It’s a really exciting time to join Manchester’s iconic entertainment destination for its relaunch after a whopping £27m upgrade which features Europe’s largest digital ceiling.”

Davis added: “I’m delighted to join an established and high performing team here at Printworks. The scheme is a leading brand within our city and our relaunch has shown what we can achieve and we have huge ambitions for the future.

“I am looking forward to working with Kristian, the wider team and all of our tenants as we head into a new era for the Printworks, further cementing our place as Manchester’s leading leisure destination.”

The Printworks refurbishment project has provided 50 additional jobs locally and contributed a positive wider economic contribution in the north west of circa £18M.
