There’s just under two weeks to go until Prolific North hosts a brand new event series – Northern Marketing Festival – to celebrate, connect and inspire the North’s ambitious marketing sectors.
From 24 to 27 June, Northern Marketing Festival will take place across three Northern cities – Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester – jam-packed with marketing insights and top tips to help take your marketing knowledge to the next level from experts and brands.
What can you expect on the third day of the festival, over in Manchester on 26 June at Manchester Hall? There will be plenty of content covering the boldest campaigns, latest trends and the mavericks who are doing things a little differently from the likes of FIFA, Embryo, Footasylum and more speakers and sessions we can now reveal.
The day will kick off with a talk delving into what behavioural science is and the key principles you can use to engage your audience with Mike Weir, Head of Behavioural Science at Impression. He will review the M.I.N.D.S.P.A.C.E Model and share how experimentation and research can be used to sharpen your marketing.
James Welch, Chief Innovation Officer at Embryo, will be up next where he’ll be untangling the web with an introduction to network science. From understanding the complex networks that makeup society, the universe, the internet and an ant colony in Nicaragua… by having a deeper understanding of complex networks he’ll share how you will be able to create more impactful strategies to grow your business.
Want to create a culture of experimentation and play on social media? Look no further than a talk with Corrie Jones, Head of Social Media at StrategiQ, who will address the difference between brands that fly on social media and brands that flop through case studies, plus takeaways from current trends and the impact of behavioural science. Here, you’ll explore the principles that can empower your social media team to be more creative – and in turn make your content more successful.
There will be a highly anticipated fireside chat with Steve Feekins, social media and content at FIFA, who will share more about his journey at FIFA over the past decade and how he approaches content across the 200m+ following of the FIFA World Cup and Women’s World Cup across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and X.
From social platforms to content creation, every part of the digital ecosystem is set to be disrupted by the introduction of AI, and search is no different. Ryan Dean, Organic Media Director at Jaywing and Sam Cant, SEO Lead at Jaywing, will explore how Jaywing has analysed 60,000 AI queries from Google’s US Beta to help brands navigate the next iteration of search and how to build a strategy to capitalise on the rollout.
With many more speakers already from the likes of Footasylum, National Football Museum, Poke, Digitaloft, Lesniak Swann, mFuse and many more – check out the full line-up here.
