Manchester-based Glued Films has hired a business development director after what it describes as an “outstanding 2016”.
Karen James joins from Charvin James, the fashion sales agency she co-founded and has been successfully running for the past three years.
James has also had previous spells with Ogilvy & Mather in Sydney and McCann-Erickson Manchester.
Ed Davis, managing director at Glued, said: “Last year was an amazing year for us and we want to build on that. We have invested in our infrastructure and the addition of a senior business development professional will help take us to the next level.”
James added: “I am delighted to have joined the team at Glued Films. I’m particularly keen to raise the profile of our strengths in content video creation. It’s great to have a new narrative at this stage in my career and I’m looking forward to building relationships within the creative community.”
Glued has recently worked on projects for Fletchers Solicitors, YellowDog and Mines Advisory Group.
