West Yorkshire Playhouse has appointed Leeds agency Chilli UK as its new brand design consultancy after a four-way competitive pitch process.
Chilli has been tasked with “capturing the spirit and the venue’s standing” as the theatre celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
Nick Hallam, marketing director of West Yorkshire Playhouse, said: “We were impressed by Chilli’s strategic approach, but also importantly that the agency understood and shared our passion for the brand.”
Chilli MD David Whittle added: “We’re delighted to be working alongside West Yorkshire Playhouse, this is a big year for the brand and we look forward to helping the company build on its vision for the future.”
Founded in 1997, Chilli also works with the likes of Butterkist and Hartleys. It will start work with West Yorkshire Playhouse immediately.
